In 1933, scientists discovered an island out in the ocean. It was called “Skull Island”. It was an island filled with mysteries and of amazing discoveries. Dinosaurs, exotic plants, and the legendary King Kong.
King Kong was the most amazing creature that scientists ever discovered. It was a giant male ape with incredible strength. Over 30 times the strength as a regular ape. Kong was King of Skull Island.
Kong was captured by humans and brought to New York City to be on display. But soon Kong broke out of its chains and caused terror and destruction to New York Cities. Killing hundreds. Kong was a brutal creature. To it, violence and power was the key to everything. Kong then climbed the Empire State Building and was then shot down by fighter airplanes. Kong then fell down with a crash. Kong was declared dead. But that was soon to be proven false…
Ounce they declared Kong dead, they took the carcass to a laboratory in New York. They then discovered a startling discovery…
Its heart was still beating! The beast would wake up any moment! The president of the United States then had an idea.
This would be the chance for the United States to test out their first cryogenic chamber.
They quickly put Kong inside. Then they thought up a device to have the chamber spray a tranquilizer gas inside the tube automatically for 24 hours a day. The reason for putting Kong to sleep instead of killing it was that the scientists could then study Kong whenever they wished. This would be an incredible discovery for the world.
73 years later, in 2006, the scientists were still keeping Kong’s sleeping body inside the tube. Millions of people came to see the eighth wonder of
